A Period Romance " with an independent will..."

Posted : 1 year, 7 months ago on 19 November 2015 05:54 (A review of Jane Eyre)

A beautiful film, I was so happy that I loved this film as I have heard such good things about the Novel also ~

Putting aside that my heart was beating from the intense atmosphere in every conversation between the two leads... The film (just like it's source material) has such good points and things to say about equality between to people in love. A Period Romance that really does make your heart ache. I loved it.

In Search Of A Bittersweet Romance

Posted : 1 year, 7 months ago on 16 November 2015 10:25 (A review of In Search of a Midnight Kiss)

A bittersweet film that I can relate to from many nights and New Year Eve's spent with strangers. I enjoyed the characters with their flaws and all. I would defiantly watch this movie all alone or with a lover. Either way check out this odd little film

"I would’ve given you a “commendable”

Posted : 1 year, 7 months ago on 16 November 2015 03:55 (A review of Moonrise Kingdom)

When I first watched this film, it felt like I was watching a hidden little gem.. a small and intimate theater production with an amazing cast and production team that made sets that looked so beautiful they looked like pictures..
Well I'm glad it's not a "hidden gem" because it's a "Beloved Gem" by many people~
The film has hilarious "dry" humor and it plays on the the two lovers (main) being so young yet so "adult"

I believe if they were teenagers it wouldn't have had that same magic that I love when it comes to innocent yet not so innocent young love this film portrays. Wes Anderson keep doing what you're doing and keep working with amazing people ~

Beautiful Melena

Posted : 1 year, 7 months ago on 16 November 2015 03:16 (A review of Malèna)

A realistic film through the eyes of a day dreaming boy, Melena is quite an enjoyable film and Monica Bellucci is painfully mesmerizing. Her character, though minimal dialogue, Monica perfectly expresses Melena's feelings through one scene, with just one tear and one look. A beautiful film about a beautiful woman.
